Marketing Intern

Superior Essex is seeking a Marketing Intern to support its Marketing team in a professional business-to-business environment. The role focuses on brand awareness, content creation, communications, digital marketing, research, events, and general marketing activities while developing practical marketing skills.

What you'll do:

• Assist with creating and editing marketing materials, presentations, flyers, graphics, and other promotional content
• Support social media content creation, scheduling, and monitoring
• Assist with website content updates and maintaining accurate online information
• Help develop and organize email marketing and internal/external communications
• Support trade shows, customer events, company events, and other marketing activities
• Assist with photography, video, and other content-creation projects as needed
• Conduct market, competitor, customer, and industry research
• Help maintain marketing calendars, files, databases, and other department resources
• Assist with promotional products, branded materials, and inventory
• Track and organize marketing data, reports, and performance metrics
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, HR, and other departments on projects and communications
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and presentation
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Familiarity with social media platforms and/or graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
• Professional, dependable, and willing to learn
• Social media management

• Copywriting/content creation
• Basic knowledge of marketing analytics
