Marketing Intern

SVN | Wood Properties is a commercial real estate services company serving East Tennessee. The Marketing Intern will support brand visibility by managing social media, creating website and property content, executing email campaigns, producing marketing graphics, and maintaining brand consistency.

What you'll do:

• Highlight new listings, company news, and industry insights
• Create, schedule, and monitor content across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
• Draft blog posts and property spotlights for the company website that reflect our local expertise in East Tennessee
• Create monthly newsletters and market updates using our email platforms
• Design and execute email blasts for listed properties, closings, and awards
• Utilize Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to produce professional flyers, social graphics, and digital brochures for commercial properties
• Assist in ensuring all outgoing materials align with SVN | Wood Properties’ core values and brand guidelines

What they're looking for:

• Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different platforms (e.g., professional for LinkedIn, engaging for Instagram)
• Self-Management: As a "department of one," the ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and take initiative without constant supervision is vital
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with social media management tools
• Education & Experience: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Business
• Creativity & Design: An eye for layout and aesthetics; experience with Canva or basic graphic design tools is highly preferred
• Experience with WordPress or email marketing software is a plus
