Marketing Intern

The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC) is an Emmy-winning IP creation and production studio based in Van Nuys, California. They are seeking a Marketing Intern to assist in the editorial and marketing operations of their culinary media vertical, Project Foodie, focusing on content production and social media marketing.

What you'll do:

• Producing posts
• Pitch stories, report and write them alongside our Chef Daniel Holzman
• Help senior content creator with research and learn from them
• Work with Chef Holzman on features he is writing
• Create marketing copy for social media platforms
• Writing descriptions and stories to compliment our video content
• Ideating copy for community newsletters
• Transcription
• Fact-checking
• Pitch video content ideas
• Create copy for in-network and out-of-network promotional content

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree currently in progress or recently graduated in Journalism or Marketing or related
• Proficiency in pitching, writing and editing articles
• Experience with social media and blogging platforms
• Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, presentation and communication skills
• A sense of humor
• Interest in food and cooking
• Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Adobe Suite preferred
• SEO experience is a plus
