Emerson is a global leader in automation technology and software. The company is seeking a Marketing Intern to support engagement and brand initiatives by developing and executing campaigns, analyzing data, conducting market research, and contributing to marketing strategies and communications projects.
What you'll do:
- Conduct and analyze internal brand and audit to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement
- Assist in the planning, strategy, and execution of various events
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the creation of sustainability messaging framework, internal messaging, and content calendar
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the industry as it relates to social media and influencer marketing
- Map out customer journeys or interactions with the RIDGID and Greenlee brands
- Assist with cross-departmental projects including strategy and execution of internal communications
- Assist with other projects as assigned
- Support Product Management in developing go-to-market strategies for new product launches and key business initiatives
What they're looking for:
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in marketing or related field from an accredited college or university
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and collaboration skills
- Passion for marketing and a willingness to learn

- 2.75 cumulative GPA
- Previous co-op/intern experience
