About this role

Walt Disney World, part of Disney Experiences, creates immersive entertainment experiences and inspires people to make their Disney dreams come true. The Marketing Strategy Intern will support revenue and attendance goals by developing communication plans, evaluating creative, analyzing consumer insights, monitoring campaign performance, and executing marketing strategies for key audiences.

What you'll do:

  • You will help deliver annual revenue and attendance goals for Walt Disney World Resort. Important responsibilities will include supporting Managers by building and implementing communication plans, evaluating campaign creative, analyzing consumer research results, interpreting analyses and determining go-forward action plans, monitoring tactical performance, and other key projects as assigned
  • Thinking critically to develop strategic inputs, communicate strategies, and develop communication plans to support business objectives
  • Creatively solving business issues through innovation of new ideas
  • Using data to identify trends and support research, analysis, and reporting efforts
  • Coordinating and leading a variety of projects to increase awareness and relevancy, drive intent to visit and accelerate conversion
  • Collaborating with internal teams to support business needs through emails, organic and paid media, web content, etc., and developing and executing marketing strategies across the business to reach key audiences

  • • Ability to use data analysis and consumer insights/research to help tell a clear, compelling story; comfortable working with numbers
  • • Team collaboration with the ability to handle conflict to positive resolution
  • • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and developing presentation decks
  • • Previous Marketing Internship experience
  • • Takes initiative and possesses personal leadership skills with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • • Senior year preferred
  • • Major or previous coursework in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • • At least 18 years of age
  • • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
  • • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
