The ideal candidate will have:
Job Description:
- Perform massages and body treatments;
- Ensure a positive spa experience for all guests;
- Assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans;
- Explain procedures, risks and benefits to clients;
- Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques for further postural improvement and stretching, strengthening, relaxation and rehabilitative exercises;
- Maintain records of treatments given;
Preferred qualifications & skills
- One (1) years of experience as a massage therapist in a high-volume luxury spa environment/health club;
- Knowledge of various massage treatment protocols (e.g. Thai Massage, Foot Reflexology Massage, Stretch Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Facial Massage, and/or Aroma Oil Massage);
- Completion of Post-Secondary education (Diploma in Massage Therapy from an accredited school);
- Flexible schedule;
- Positive working attitude
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ideal candidates will be Licensed and have at least 500 hours of massage training at a recognized school.
- 1 year experience in an upscale operation.
- Must be CPR-certified
- Flexible Schedule
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours per shift.
