ASRC Federal is hiring a Material Handler III to support our government contract at the Pentagon.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Process receiving and stocking, Load and unload all materials from Carriers and Vendors central receiving dock. Receive and inspect materials to meet count, kind, condition and country of origin. Stow and stock materials in locations using FIFO methods ensuring stock rotation. Operating MHE Material Handlers are trained and certified to operate forklifts, stand ups, pallet jacks, tow carts, hand trucks and push carts while adhering to Pentagon safety policies.
- Customer service. Assist with customer check outs and counter sales.
- Provide customer assistance. Process Maximo order Interface with ASRC PurchasePlace sales transactions and provide POD’s and secure customer signature and date of acceptance.
- Merchandizing materials. Front face all stock, review labels versus stock items for sized right stock positions and placement Process receiving and stocking, Load and unload all materials from Carriers and Vendors central receiving area. Receive and inspect materials to meet count, kind, condition and country of origin. Secure SDS and shipping paperwork and collect lot, batch, expiration, slc code, and certificates of Label all inbound materials with assigned labels. Stow and stock materials in locations using FIFO methods ensuring stock rotation.
- Operating MHE, material handling equipment Operate MHE Forklift, stand ups, pallet jacks, tow carts, hand trucks and push carts in a variety of outdoor laydown areas and production environments. Warehouse specialist will adhere to all posted speed limits and vehicle restrictions for local, state and federal policies.
- Create new orders for next day delivery cycle Provide customer service and Order processing communicate customer feedback for production needs.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5-7 years of warehouse and material handling related experience
