This position may be required to work nights, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.

This position will provide and monitor standard nursing care services for the Acute Care Medical/Surgical Department.

How does it get done?

 
This position will ensure adherence to Miners' Colfax Medical Center policies and procedures, as well as ensuring that all patient care provided is safe and of quality nature.

Who are the customers?

 
Patients, residents and staff members.

Ideal Candidate

 
Experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical/Surgical setting.

Minimum Qualification

 
Must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico, or eligibility for such licensure in accordance with New Mexico requirements, or eligibility for a temporary license issued for employment at a specific institution in New Mexico, or a Graduate Nurse with a ¿permit-to-practice¿.

Employment Requirements

 
Must successfully pass a background check.

Working Conditions

 
Work is performed in a hospital setting, long hours of sitting and computer use, bending, walking, phone use and must be able to lift 50 pounds.
