Merchandising Internship Program (Framingham, MA)

The TJX Companies, Inc. is a global off-price retailer operating retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate home offices. The Merchandising Intern will support either Planning & Allocation or Buying by analyzing sales and consumer trends, developing allocation strategies, participating in vendor and store visits, and resolving merchandise issues.

What you'll do:

• Analyze sales trends and reports to anticipate consumer buying patterns and product trends
• Create and implement allocation strategies for our stores and / or e-commerce sites
• Accompany Buyers on local, virtual, or on-site vendor visits
• Strategize with Buyers before vendor visits and debrief post-visit
• Visit stores to analyze our product mix as well as our competitors
• Resolve merchandise issues with our Distribution Centers, Buyers, and Vendors
