Louis Vuitton is seeking a Merchandising Manager, Les Extraordinaires, to support High End events across Louis Vuitton Americas. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will shape and execute the merchandising strategy for Les Extraordinaires, with responsibility for event strategy, assortment planning, and execution for in-store and out-of-store High End activations. The Manager will partner cross-functionally with Client Relations, Creative Services, Supply Chain, Logistics, Visual Merchandising, Training, and regional partners to build impactful and exclusive event assortments, ensure timely product flow, and communicate event strategies seamlessly. This role will also serve as a key advocate for Louis Vuitton Americas market needs of exceptional product with the Paris Product team.
Job responsibilities
Driving Les Extraordinaires event execution
- Partner cross-functionally on exceptional event concepts from initial product planning through stock flow and post-event order fulfillment.
- Lead and manage event timelines across key partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the process.
- Create and maintain event tools, including LV Events App, Microsoft Forms, and Power BI resources.
- Partner with Training to develop event-specific trainings for retail teams.
- Supervise product flow to events in partnership with Supply Chain to ensure qualitative product representation.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising and Creative Services to align visual displays and aesthetics with strategic objectives.
- Partner with Client Development and Client Relations to identify opportunities to expand and engage the client base at events.
- Manage event sales tracking, sales recapping, and order fulfillment strategy.
Bringing a strong commercial mindset to High End merchandising
- Engage with the retail community to drive transformative event business outcomes.
- Create exceptional assortments for events to drive brand desirability while capitalizing on specific market needs.
- Identify Savoir Faire activation opportunities with central artisans and partner with the artisan population to create invigorating event animations.
- Advocate for exceptional product development with central partners, including the Paris product team.
- Build event calendar categories in partnership with the Director and SVP of Merchandising.
- Strategize programs and incentives to drive sales, with a focus on growing event business across the network.
Collaborating across teams and partners
- Maintain strong partnerships with Client Relations, Creative Services, Supply Chain, Logistics, Visual Merchandising, Training, and regional teams.
- Ensure seamless communication of event strategies to regional partners.
- Support timely deliveries and coordinated execution for impactful High End activations.
Profile
We are excited to speak to candidates with 5+ years of relevant retail merchandising experience, with supply chain or logistics experience considered a plus. The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented, highly organized, commercially minded, and comfortable partnering across multiple functions in a fast-paced luxury retail environment. Strong computer literacy and advanced Excel skills are essential. Foreign language proficiency, including French, Spanish, or Portuguese, is considered advantageous. This role reports to the Merchandising Director and may require approximately 10% travel.
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary range within USD $110,000- $130,000, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.

The position requires 4-5 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
