About this role
BAE Systems develops advanced electronics and defense technologies for aerospace, security, and other critical applications. The Metrology Operations Intern II will help optimize business operations, manage internal systems and strategic project rollouts, apply Lean methodologies to identify inefficiencies, and support business development and strategic project administration.
What you'll do:
- In this role you will play a key part in optimizing how our business functions
- You will help manage the evolution of our internal systems, taking project plans from the conceptual stage to a full-scale rollout
- By applying Lean organizational methodologies, you will help us identify inefficiencies and build a more scalable operational framework
- From supporting business development efforts to managing the administrative backbone of strategic projects, you will gain a 360-degree view of how a global organization operates and grows
What they're looking for:
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program, entering College Junior or Senior year in a business or industrial engineering degree
- Motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent team player who is willing to contribute and learn
