Mgr, Global Sourcing Commodity

The Global Sourcing Manager develops and owns global category strategies that deliver long-term business value through effective supplier management, commercial excellence and strategic sourcing. As a Principal-level individual contributor, the role serves as a sourcing subject matter expert, leading complex sourcing initiatives, developing innovative supply solutions, mitigating business risks and influencing cross-functional stakeholders to achieve business objectives and strengthen organizational capability.

• Develop and own sourcing and category strategies for assigned global spend areas, leveraging deep supplier, market and commercial expertise to deliver long-term business value and competitive advantage.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives and influence key stakeholders to optimize total cost of ownership, supply continuity, quality, service and innovation outcomes.
• Establish and manage strategic supplier relationships, supplier performance frameworks and commercial agreements to drive long-term value creation and operational excellence.
• Develop innovative sourcing, negotiation and supplier engagement approaches to address complex business challenges and achieve strategic, operational and financial objectives.
• Lead sourcing activities supporting new product introductions and other strategic business initiatives, ensuring supplier capability and supply readiness requirements are met.
• Identify and mitigate supplier, commercial, operational and supply continuity risks through effective sourcing, supplier management and business continuity strategies.
• Drive productivity, cost optimization and value creation through strategic sourcing, supplier collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on supplier markets, cost drivers, industry trends and emerging opportunities, contributing to the development of sourcing frameworks, best practices and category strategies.
• Develop new sourcing concepts, supplier management practices and commercial approaches that enhance organizational capability and support long-term business objectives.
• Ensure sourcing activities comply with company policies, responsible sourcing requirements and applicable legal and ethical standards

• BA, BS in a relevant discipline; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing or supplier management experience.
• Demonstrated project leadership experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders directly and indirectly across functions and external organizations.
• Strong financial acumen and commercial decision-making capability.
• Advanced negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• High interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Advanced facilitation, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience working in a global, cross-functional and matrixed environment
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
