WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:
- Estimated Base Salary: $86,000 - $114,000, plus annual bonus opportunity, and commission.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Leads high-risk insurance operations: Oversees highly visible Policyowner Services processes involving significant financial, regulatory, operational, and reputational risk, with decision-making authority up to $1 million.
- Drives people and team leadership: Manages supervisors and direct reports, including hiring, training, performance management, coaching, motivation, compensation, and compliance with HR guidelines.
- Ensures compliance and risk management: Analyzes regulations and legislation, identifies noncompliance, implements corrective actions, strengthens controls, and embeds a culture of operational risk accountability.
- Leads strategic and operational excellence initiatives: Drives business planning, transformation, process simplification, budget management, special projects, and initiatives designed to improve customer experience, profitability, efficiency, and business performance.
- Partners across the organization and externally: Collaborates with Underwriting, Claims, and other stakeholders on risk selection and policies; manages stakeholder relationships, supports settlement negotiations, represents the company in depositions and regulatory inquiries, and ensures departmental and corporate goals are achieved.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Strong leadership and people management: Demonstrates leadership, relationship-building, communication, and coaching skills, with the ability to develop leaders and frontline talent.
- Strategic and analytical decision-making: Applies sound independent judgment, creative thinking, and analytical skills to solve complex problems and drive results beyond traditional approaches.
- Effective planning and execution: Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects and competing activities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Insurance and operational expertise: Brings seasoned insurance knowledge, including products, distribution, business processes, systems, risk and controls, and applicable federal and state regulations.
- Adaptable and technology proficient: Comfortable with ambiguity and change, resilient under pressure, proficient with multiple technology platforms and Microsoft tools, and willing to travel up to 10%.
- You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
- Able to travel occasionally (approximately 5–10% annually) to attend events and in-person meetings (travel reimbursed).
