Micro-Intern: Angular/FHIR Development (IAP)

InterSystems develops data technology platforms for healthcare and other industries. The company is seeking a Micro-Intern to help build and maintain Angular applications and public APIs supporting FHIR servers, interoperability, and healthcare data platforms. The role involves implementing reliable and scalable solutions, following UX and backend development best practices, and collaborating with developers and UX designers.

What you'll do:

• Learn about FHIR technologies
• Implement technical solutions with a view towards long-term reliability and scalability
• Follow architectural and design best practices for UX and back ends
• Follow development best practices like design and code reviews, automated tests
• Collaborate with a small team of developers and UX designers

What they're looking for:

• **THIS POSTING IS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MIT FOR THEIR MICRO-INTERN PROGRAM. ONLY CURRENTLY ENROLLED MIT STUDENTS WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY.**
• * Working towards a degree in a technical field like computer engineering or computer science
• * Experience with Angular or other web frameworks
• * Experience with python, Java or a similar programming language
• * Experience developing secure REST APIs
• * Motivated to learn and adopt new tools and technologies, especially in the cloud
• * Self-driven and confident in their skills
