This position is located at MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII / MCBH / MCAS / KBAY, KANEOHE BAY, OAHU, HI. Candidates selected for this position will serve as a REGULAR PART-TIME MICRO-MART ATTANDANT A04* working for MCCS.

Major Duties
Supports the daily operational needs of multiple unattended retail locations and assists the Micro-Mart Manager in executing sales-driving tasks. Reports to the Micro-Mart Manager, Micro-Mart
Assistant Manager, or Operations Manager.
Supports execution of corporate and local programs related to product assortment, inventory accuracy, and merchandising standards. Assists with monitoring item movement, completing basic inventory counts, and communicating replenishment needs. May assist with preparing and submitting product orders based on established par levels, inventory counts, and direction from management.
Follows established procedures for stocking, rotating, and organizing merchandise across unattended retail operations. Communicates observations and opportunities to management and supports efforts to simplify and standardize processes that improve operational efficiency. Helps maintain clean, organized, and compliant storage and service areas in accordance with enterprise standards. May assist with receiving documentation and forwarding materials to appropriate departments.
Supports merchandising standards including planograms, product rotation, and replenishment to ensure optimal product availability. Identifies and reports potential loss due to spoilage, shrink, or vendor-related issues. Assists with corrective actions such as removing damaged product or preparing items for vendor credit. May assist with verifying order accuracy upon delivery and reporting discrepancies to management.
Learns and uses sales and inventory reporting tools to support monitoring of product performance and identification of operational issues. Communicates replenishment gaps, assortment concerns, or supply chain issues to management. Supports ordering processes by gathering data on fast-moving items, low-stock categories, and customer requests. Assists with periodic reviews of unattended retail locations to support evaluation of inventory accuracy, merchandising standards, and product availability.

Qualifications
Skills and Knowledge:
Preferred experience in retail, unattended operations, route service, warehouse functions, merchandising, or inventory control. Ability to follow instructions, work independently on assigned tasks, and support multiple locations as needed. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and follow basic reports related to merchandise replenishment and inventory management. Ability to operate computer or handheld scanning equipment. Microsoft Excel experience preferred. Skill to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Must possess and maintain a valid driver¿s license if required for assigned duties.
Uses direction from management to complete corrective actions that protect sales and service levels. Requires loading and unloading vehicles, carts, or pallets. May require food handling safety training, handling and certification. May require light custodial duties, stocking, setting planograms, price changes, inventory counts and corrections.
Responsibility:
Engages with associates, or managers to support accurate and timely inventory scans, counts, and adjustments. Participates in training on inventory accuracy, replenishment processes, and operational standards. Assigned to specialized unattended retail operations such as micro markets, vending, or smart stores, requiring familiarity with basic equipment functions, cashless payment systems, and product handling standards.
Supports broader retail operations including merchandising, receiving, backroom organization, and other operational tasks. May assist with keyholder-related responsibilities. Assists with special orders, merchandise requests, or receiving of products.
May occasionally assist with food bar operations including preparation, stocking, rotation, and maintenance of fresh food offerings in accordance with food safety standards and corporate guidelines. Ensures food bar items are properly labeled, dated, and merchandised. Monitors temperature controls, equipment functionality, and cleanliness to meet health and safety requirements. Reports spoilage, improper rotation, or equipment issues promptly to management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Effort: Light to moderate effort is required in bending, stooping, lifting and stocking. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs. with assistance.
Working Conditions: Works both inside and outside and may be exposed to heat, cleaning chemical odors and weather conditions. Drives in all types of weather. Must wear issued safety gear when required.
