What you'll do: • Teach Middle school grades PE alongside our team • Run skill instruction, team sports units, and fitness conditioning • Apply our behavior framework (Four Pillars and Active Praise) • Prepare 7th graders for the California Physical Fitness Test • Communicate with site administration and classroom teachers • Take on increasing ownership through the year as your site knowledge grows Who we're looking for: • Valid California Teaching Credential — • Single Subject PE Teaching Credential (MIDDLE SCHOOL) • Genuine interest in sports, structured games, and physical activity • Comfortable with the junior high age group (or willing to learn it) • Reliable, energetic, coachable • Willing to learn • Trained for elementary but haven't landed a role? • Single Subject PE Teaching Credential • Completed Live Scan, • CPR, • TB test, • Ability to commute to Santa Ana.
