Mixer Cleaner Operator 1st shift

Position Summary

The mixer cleaner operator is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient mixing operation equipment within a rubber manufacturing facility.  This is a hands-on manufacturing position that involves exposure to rubber materials, rubber compound, dust, and industrial equipment.  Company-provided uniforms and appropriate protective equipment are supplied.  

Responsibilities

• Will clean floors, walls, lights, and equipment including disassembly and internal cleaning of batch offs and mixer.
• Lubricate all mixing department equipment, change oil, grease bearings, fill air line oilers, drain water from air lines.
• Clean and/or change filters including those in dust collectors
• Remove trahs and scrap.
• Paint and/or repair facilities
• Descale cooling and heating equipment
• Assist in teh moving or relocation of mixing equipment or supplies
• Use of forklift or other matieral handling equipment
• Will perform minor maintenance duties
• Operate equipment such as power sweeper, power vacuum, scrubber, powerlift, and acid pumps.  
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, break areas, and other designated facility areas.  
• Remove accumulated rubber material, residue, dust, and debris from equipment and work areas.  

Qualifications

Be able to demonstrate good attendance history

Basic Computer skills

High School diploma or equivalent work experience

• This position starts at $22.94 and is eligible to reach top pay by step progression increases
