What You'll Do as a Motorcycle Mechanic/Technician
- Replaces &/or repairs cylinders, pistons, & transmissions.
- Repairs &/or replaces minor & major parts (e.g., wheels, alternator, brake systems, exhaust systems, electrical relays & other wiring, fuel pumps, carburetors, handle-bars, levers, spark plugs, valves, shocks, body work & lights) on up to 555 program motorcycles & equipment (e.g., truck trailer).
- Performs preventive maintenance & service (e.g., tunes gas engines; inspects MO motorcycles, trucks & trailers for damage; adjusts parts; changes fluids; operates electronic tools) on trucks, motorcycles & equipment (i.e., generators & batteries).
- Transports mobile trailer units & loads, unloads & transports MO motorcycles & other program equipment & materials (e.g., marking cones, paints, generators, course materials).
