MSW Enrollment Advisor

College of Social Work

• Serve as a dedicated admissions and enrollment advisor for prospective students from inquiry through enrollment.
• Conduct virtual and potential in-person information sessions, one-on-one consultations, and recruitment events for prospective students.
• Maintain ongoing communication with prospective students through email, phone, text, and virtual meetings, including initiating outreach to inquiries.
• Explain admission requirements, program options, deadlines, curriculum, field education requirements, application materials, and enrollment processes.
• Assist prospective students in evaluating degree and educational goals, and connect applicants with appropriate university resources when needed.
• Learn and utilize admissions CRM systems, currently Slate, and other university technologies to monitor application pipelines.
• Track recruitment activities, inquiries, applications, yield data, enrollment trends, recruitment outcomes, and student engagement.
• Recommend strategies to improve conversion and retention efforts.
• Partner with the MSW Program Director, Admissions Coordinator, admissions staff, faculty, field education team, academic advising, and student support personnel to support enrollment growth.
• Participate in orientation and onboarding activities, including welcome webinars, and contribute to recruitment materials and digital communication campaigns.
• Maintain knowledge of university policies and social work accreditation requirements.

A bachelor's degree and two years of experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: or a post high school education and experience equal to six years)

Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in social work, career counseling, higher education, or a related field; experience with admissions, recruitment, student advising, enrollment management, customer relationship management systems, and digital communication with prospective students.

The projected salary range is anticipated to be between $44,000 to $50,000, commensurate with education and experience. This is a soft-money funded position supported by auxiliary funds.
