Multimedia Production Intern

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is a nonprofit, bipartisan public policy organization focused on global security and prosperity. Its iDeas Lab seeks a creative multimedia production intern to support video and audio production, including editing, studio assistance, content sourcing, and digital content curation.

What you'll do:

• Serve as primary video editor for CSIS vertical video series’, including Asked and Answered; and YouTube versions of various CSIS podcasts
• Produce videos for CSIS video series including The ReCap and Testify
• Assist with studio set-up and editing of video interviews
• Source B-roll and music for CSIS video products, and assist with pre-production research as needed
• Edit full-length podcast episodes and other audio features using Adobe Audition
• Curate video and audio content on our websites, social media platforms, and other content delivery networks
• Assist our developers, producers, and designers with other tasks as needed

What they're looking for:

• A./B.S in relevant field (or rising senior)
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, including operating in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities
• Strong attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through skills
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Adobe Suite experience a plus
