About this role

Musicians On Call is a nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to patients, family members, and caregivers in healthcare environments. The Program Manager oversees hospital partnerships and program operations in the New York metro area, supports program expansion, and helps strengthen technology-focused program delivery.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee program operations and hospital relationships in assigned markets — including recruiting and onboarding volunteers, organizing and maintaining program operation schedules and communication, and developing collaborative processes with hospital partners
  • Work with Program Team and Director of Programs to identify and cultivate program expansion opportunities in NYC
  • Serve as the liaison between volunteers and hospitals in assigned markets and maintain MOC values and company culture
  • Identify new opportunities to increase impact and elevate program experience for hospitals and patients
  • Manage and regularly update program, shift, volunteer and hospital records, and statistics through Salesforce and MOC’s program platform
  • Work with the Sr. Program Manager to coordinate special visits and events as needed in assigned markets
  • Support storytelling efforts that highlight community impact and volunteer contributions
  • Support the development department by providing stats, volunteer and hospital testimonials, general program information, analysis for potential scaling or expansion of programs, and additional programmatic records as requested

What they're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of nonprofit, music industry, healthcare or related field(s)
  • Disciplined self-starter who can set and achieve goals with a passion for and interest in learning more about the nonprofit world
  • Enthusiasm for and familiarity with creating and building relationships with volunteers and/or external partners
  • Demonstrates strong creative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, manage several projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
  • Proficiency with standard office productivity suites (Google Workspace, ClickUp) and the use of AI (Gemini, Claude)
  • Healthcare experience, knowledge of HIPAA and infection control policies
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Salesforce experience
