Job Title:             Night Shift Ceramic Blender

Location:             Sanford, NC Plant

Description:

Produce core and shell material for the casting process by operating various blending equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Precision weighing, blending and packing of ceramic mix per Engineering procedures and formulation instructions.
• Processing, blending and sampling of various ceramic and other materials per blending instructions and Engineering procedures.
• Work as assigned in other areas of ceramic blending operation.
• Responsible for housekeeping in work areas assigned.
• Responsible for material movement and warehouse location per computerized inventory and production system.

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience strongly preferred
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
• Good reading, math and comprehension skills
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Proficient in safe forklift operation
• Must have good organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to work both daily and weekend overtime
• Must have some basic computer knowledge
• Must be a team player and have good attendance

Physical Description:

• Operates Forklift – 30%
• Standing / Walking – 60%
• Climb Ladders / Cat Crawls (approx. 10 ft.) – 10%

Shift Details

This a night shift position, Monday-Friday from 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. There is a shift differential provided in addition to the hourly base compensation.
