Responsibilities

 

Manages the daily operations of the testing center and supervises OPS proctoring staff. Prepares the facility, exam materials, and equipment for daily use. Ensures equipment is in proper working order. Promotes strong customer service, professionalism, confidentiality, and academic integrity.

Guides students and instructors through test service eligibility, setup, and scheduling steps. Including additional support to students requiring special accommodation, such as individual proctoring needs coordination of DAW activities, OAS scholarship programming, and assisting in overseeing programs and services.

Maintains the exam registration system and the exam calendar. Make scheduling adjustments and special provisions as able. Troubleshoots, resolves, and reports all issues that occur in the OAS Testing Center.

Coordinates expanded OAS operations for final exam week in Fall and Spring semesters. This includes alternative schedules and extended hours.

Assists with the development and implementation of internal and external, independent and collaborative programming (e.g., workshops, training, events, orientations, etc.). Including but not limited to: DAW and Graduation/Celebration (internal, OAS Students).

Reviews exam policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all national and local proctoring standards. Researches assessment best practices and advises fellow staff accordingly. Completes special research projects to improve assessment services.

Performs other duties as assigned that support academic integrity initiatives and the mission of the department.
 

Qualifications

 

Bachelor's and two years of experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years or experience. (Note: or a post high school education and experience equal to six years).
