About this role
Under the direction of the Unit Manager or designee, assists in preparation and care of pregnant surgical patients requiring cesarean section and related procedures in the Operating Room; Performs a variety of technical tasks related to the function of the Birth Center; Assists in patient care as assigned; Performs quality infant hearing screening as needed and performs routine and delegated duties according to departmental policies; and performs a variety of other related clerical and receptionist duties to assist in the flow of patients.

Shift Details: Part-time, 24 hours weekly, Variable (Night) shift
Required Qualifications:
- Upon hire: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program, or
- Coursework/Training: Formal training in military.
- Upon hire: National Certification as a Surgical Technician, Obstetric Technician, or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
- Surgical Technician, Obstetric Technician or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
