About this role
Sargento is a family-owned cheese company seeking an Omni-Channel Marketing Intern to support initiatives that strengthen its eCommerce presence and improve omni-channel experiences across key retail partners. The role involves monitoring competitive and retail trends, researching emerging technology, supporting campaigns and projects, and developing insights and presentations through cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll do:
- As an Omni-Channel Marketing Intern, you’ll contribute to projects that help Sargento strengthen its eCommerce presence and deliver best-in-class Omni-Channel experiences across key retail partners
- Competitive & Retailer Insights: Monitor competitive activity and emerging eCommerce trends across key retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, and Meijer, translating findings into actionable insights for the broader team
- Retail Media & eCommerce: Gain exposure to Retail Media Networks and understand how brands connect with shoppers across retailer websites, apps, digital media, and in-store experiences
- Emerging Technology & Innovation: Research evolving eCommerce capabilities, including AI, new technologies, platforms, and tools, and identify opportunities that could enhance the shopper experience or improve how we work
- Omni-Channel Project Support: Partner cross-functionally on priority Omni-Channel initiatives, supporting research, analysis, campaign support, and other project needs
- Team Collaboration & Storytelling: Participate in Omni-Channel meetings and business updates, helping develop insights, presentations, and materials that clearly communicate key findings and recommendations
What they're looking for:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or other related field, having completed junior year of a bachelor's degree or year one in a master's degree prior to the start of internship
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and effectively communicate and present to others
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematics or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Familiarity with digital media tactics including social media and its application as a marketing tool
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle required. There is no mass/public transit system to/from corporate housing location to company locations
