About this role
Impact Workforce Solutions provides strategic workforce and human capital solutions to clients across various industries. The Onsite Recruiter will recruit and support a high-volume hourly workforce in a production/manufacturing environment by sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, maintaining candidate pipelines, supporting onboarding, and partnering with operations and client leadership to fill open positions.
What you'll do:
- Recruit and source hourly production/manufacturing employees to meet client staffing needs and hiring goals
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, resume databases, referrals, community outreach, and other recruiting channels
- Screen candidates and conduct initial phone interviews to assess qualifications, availability, work history, and fit for production roles
- Maintain an active candidate pipeline and consistently follow up with applicants throughout the recruiting process
- Coordinate interviews between candidates, recruiters, supervisors, and client leadership
- Manage high-volume inbound recruiting activity, including phone calls, emails, texts, and candidate questions
- Support onboarding activities and ensure candidates receive clear communication regarding next steps
- Maintain accurate candidate and employee records in recruiting systems
- Help communicate workplace policies, procedures, schedules, and expectations to employees
- Partner with the Operations Manager to identify staffing challenges and develop recruiting solutions
- Provide a positive candidate experience while moving qualified candidates efficiently through the hiring process
- Perform other duties as assigned
What they're looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of recruiting experience, preferably recruiting hourly employees in a high-volume environment
- Experience recruiting for hourly, high-volume positions and managing multiple openings at the same time
- Strong sourcing skills using job boards, social media, resume databases, and other recruiting tools
- Excellent communication and candidate follow-up skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while partnering closely with Operations and client leadership
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Positive, high-energy attitude and a solutions-oriented mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Previous HR, staffing, recruiting, or workforce management experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, distribution, or similar environments strongly preferred
- Experience with ATS/recruiting systems preferred
