We are seeking motivated and curiosity-driven postdoctoral scholar to test next-generation ASAP-family voltage indicators and apply them to uncover the electrical basis of neurodevelopmental disease. The scholar will learn state-of-the-art methods in rapid protein testing and multi-unit electrical recordings with high-throughput one- and two-photon methods, in collaboration with other labs at the Wu Tsai Neuroscience Institute.
This opportunity is well suited for someone who seeks exceptionally high impact in their research, who enjoys interdisciplinary thinking to advance the frontiers of neurotechnology, and who wants to establish an independent research program with broad future applications. All equipment and reagents are in place.
