Open Rank: Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor of Psychiatry (Computational Psychiatry - Tenure Track)

The Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University is inviting applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant to full professor level. We seek candidates whose research is focused on computational approaches to understand neurocognitive mechanisms of psychiatric disorders. Expertise in theory-driven cognitive paradigms and computational analysis of neurofunctional (e.g., fMRI/EEG) and behavioral data is required, along with strong skills in advanced data-driven methods. Emphasis on translation into clinical applications and bridging preclinical to clinical work is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will be engaged in multidisciplinary, translational, collaborative work with clinical and preclinical researchers within and beyond the Department, who are studying related processes in humans and non-human model systems across the lifespan. Candidates will have a background in psychiatry, neuroscience, psychology, or related areas (holding an MD, MD/PhD, PhD or equivalent degree) and should have, or demonstrate strong potential to obtain, sustained extramural funding to support an independent research program.
