Job Summary
The Operations Administrative Intern provides administrative, operational, and project coordination support to engineering, program management, and business operations teams. This role assists with documentation, reporting, meeting coordination, project tracking, and operational activities that support government and commercial contracts. The internship offers hands-on exposure to defense contracting, engineering project management, and mission-focused operations supporting national security customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and coordination support to leaders, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Prepare, review, and maintain reports, presentations, project documentation, and meeting minutes.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, action items, deadlines, and follow-up items.
- Support contract and program reporting activities for government and commercial work.
- Maintain document repositories using Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and other collaboration tools.
- Collect, organize, and summarize operational and project data for management reporting.
- Help ensure documentation aligns with company policies, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Support continuous improvement efforts across engineering and operations teams.
- Assist with special projects related to business development, capture activities, and customer engagement.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools.
- Familiarity with defense contracting, government services, or engineering environments.
- Basic understanding of project lifecycle management and documentation control processes.
- Experience supporting administrative, operational, technical, or project-based teams.

Compensation and Benefits
Hourly wage: $20.00 per hour. Eligible employees may enroll in company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision benefits in accordance with plan terms and enrollment requirements.
