Operations Analyst I

Vertafore provides digital systems, AI, and data-driven solutions for the insurance industry. The Operations Analyst I will create and maintain operational reports and dashboards, investigate business needs and opportunities, analyze data, support data integrity, and present insights and solutions to stakeholders and leadership.

What you'll do:

• Create and maintain reports for Professional Services across Operations. These reports are used by all levels within Professional Services, as well as used by the C-Suite and other departments
• Large scope of reporting responsibilities, from daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and dashboards up to board level slide decks
• Investigate operational needs, problems and opportunities, provide data-driven analysis to collaborate with the broader PS Ops and PS team to create and present solutions
• Responsible for data integrity and structure in systems used by Vertafore Professional Services
• Other duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience in an operations, business analyst, reporting analyst, data analyst, or similar role
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize, analyze, validate, and present complex data
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate operational performance, trends, and business insights
• Experience working with business intelligence, reporting, or data visualization tools
• Demonstrated experience analyzing data and presenting findings and recommendations to business stakeholders
• Experience maintaining data quality and working with data across multiple systems or sources
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate information effectively to both technical and nontechnical audiences
• The selected candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Experience supporting Professional Services, SaaS, software implementation, or another customer facing operational environment is preferred
• Experience preparing reporting or presentation materials for senior or executive leadership is preferred
