Operations Assistant Intern

Fervo Energy is developing next-generation geothermal power to deliver firm, carbon-free energy at scale. The Operations Assistant Intern will support the plant management team at Cape Station by coordinating day-to-day operations, tracking operational readiness, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and organizing documentation for operations handover activities.

What you'll do:

• Support day-to-day plant operations coordination on-site at Cape Station
• Assist with tracking construction-related operational readiness activities
• Help coordinate between construction, engineering, and operations teams
• Support documentation and data organization for ops handover activities

What they're looking for:

• Rising Junior, Senior, Master's wrapping up within the next year — we're building a pipeline toward full-time offers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to stakeholders and leadership
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt quickly to new challenges
• Candidates based in or near Milford, UT strongly preferred
• Interest in plant operations, energy, or engineering
• Comfort working on an active industrial site
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate across teams
