Operations Assistant Intern

Eventive Sports, a sports event management organization, is seeking an Operations Assistant Intern to support public tailgate operations in partnership with the University of Oklahoma. The role involves managing the tailgate area, assisting fans, overseeing event staff, coordinating with vendors, tracking metrics, and identifying ways to improve the fan experience.

What you'll do:

• Oval public tailgate management
• Interact with tailgaters to ensure positive experience
• Support tailgaters unloading personal tailgate equipment
• Oversight of event staff – access control, emergency response, security
• Operational duties – signage, equipment, etc
• Collection and analysis of key tailgate metrics
• Work with vendors to ensure quality service is provided
• Observe the fan experience and provide improvement ideas
• Other duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Availability on home football gamedays is required, typically Friday and Saturday (or Thursday and Friday for Friday games)
• Self-motivated & team oriented
• Energetic, outgoing personality
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Interest in sports and/or a career in the sports industry
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Willingness to do manual labor & ability to lift 40 pounds
• Willingness to work all 7 University of Oklahoma home games & long hours
