Operations Intern

Crete Carrier Corporation is seeking an Operations Intern to provide talented individuals with a fully immersive experience in the supply chain industry. Interns will receive job training and experience in various areas within the Operations Department and will be exposed to other departments including Driver Recruiting, Accounting, and Sales.

What you'll do:

• Rotates through our divisions of responsibility to shadow and train in a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:
• Transportation and Capacity Planning
• Procurement
• Customer Service Management
• Sales
• Driver Relations
• Contract Negotiations
• Additional responsibilities based on departmental need in order to gain experience
• One-on-one support with dedicated mentors
• Train in DOT regulations to ensure compliance
• Gain experience and understanding of general transportation and logistics management principles
• Receive and carry out instructions
