Operations Internship - North Florida (Summer 2027)

Builders FirstSource is a supplier of building materials, value-added components, and building services to the professional market. The Operations Intern will gain industry and organizational knowledge while supporting sales, operations, distribution, customer growth, market development, inventory management, and business data analysis initiatives under direct supervision.

What you'll do:

• Support branch and market leadership initiatives focused on the sales, operations, and distribution of building materials within the construction industry
• Assist with projects related to customer growth, market development, inventory management, and operational performance
• Gather, analyze, and organize business data to support sales strategies, pricing initiatives, customer service improvements, and departmental reporting

What they're looking for:

• Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree
• Strong oral, written, and communication skills
• Ability to work well with diverse groups of people
• Comfortable talking with and interacting with others
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Work is in an office setting and generally sedentary, but position may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time
• May be required to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects up to 25 pounds
• Prefer GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Prefer junior or senior level, but will consider other class levels
