Job Overview
The Operations Manager oversees all daily warehouse and logistics operations for the parts division, ensuring efficient, accurate, and cost-effective distribution. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing shipping and receiving processes, and driving operational excellence to maximize productivity. The manager leads and develops a diverse team, oversees departmental budgets, and enforces safety and compliance standards while continuously improving processes to support a reliable and efficient supply chain.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide a safe, secure, and engaging work environment that fosters team member involvement and creativity.
- Embrace and practice Stellantis Leadership Principles in Stellantis Parts and Service Way
- Coordinate activities, ensure compliance that meets and exceeds the Parts Distribution Center customer KPI’s, related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale, and Environmental
- Provide feedback, coaching, and training to associates as needed.
- Analyze root causes and execute countermeasures for daily work challenges while implementing safe work practices and preventative countermeasures.
- Utilize kaizen activities to drive continuous process improvements
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety with team members, peers, and senior management.
- Inventory Management
- Compliance Management (Weekly and monthly audit compliance)
- Continuous Improvement (Project identification, implementation, and validation of savings)
- Customer Satisfaction (Produce quality parts free of errors and damage)
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management (BA) / Logistics
- Minimum of 8 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to work any shift and overtime necessary
- Excellent organization skill
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business administration (MBA)
- Experience in continuous improvement projects
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced regional and global work environment, and organize priorities
- Analytical with strategic forward planning mindset
