Operations QA Intern, Summer 2027-Columbus, GA

The J.M. Smucker Co. is seeking an Operations QA Intern for its summer 2027 internship program. The role supports manufacturing operations by collecting and analyzing process data, documenting results, recommending improvements, and updating program documentation.

What you'll do:

• Work closely with manufacturing technicians on the production floor to collect data and understand manufacturing processes
• Prepare standard reports and documentation to communicate results
• Collect, analyze, and utilize data to recommend improvements while interfacing with salaried employees and technicians
• Develop and update program documentation

What they're looking for:

• A rising junior or senior standing in school with requisite educational experience in a science field or engineering – Food Science or Industrial or Chemical Engineering is preferred
• A well-rounded skill set including the ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Must be able to work in both an office and plant environment and comply with all safety procedures
