Description
The Operations Strategist is responsible for driving operational excellence by identifying opportunities for improvement, developing data-driven recommendations, and implementing solutions that enhance business performance, efficiency, and effectiveness. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and exercises independent judgment related to business operations, compliance risk, and process improvement.
Essential Functions

- Evaluate operational processes and independently identify inefficiencies, determining and implementing strategic improvements in partnership with cross functional leadership.
- Lead initiatives to reduce waste and drive cost savings, prioritizing discretion, approach and execution of solutions.
- Direct and conduct complex compliance investigations, determining root causes, accessing risk, and making recommendations that influence business decisions and corrective actions across Servicing.
- Develop and deliver training strategies and programs that address process gaps, improve team effectiveness and support business objectives.
- Foster a culture of accountability and partnership, influencing leaders and teams to adopt best practices that enhances both internal and external customer experiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, Analytics, or related field required
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Communicates clearly and concisely with cross-functional team members at all levels (verbal and written)
- Ability to lead cross functional teams to achieve a common goal
- Ability to self-identify problems and implement solutions through collaboration with leaders across the organization
- Ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand format
- Able to prioritize and efficiently manage multiple responsibilities
- Excellent analytical skills, strong sense of organization, and detail oriented
- Self-motivated and self-starter with a desire to learn and grow skillset
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed.
