About this role

Sensiba LLP is seeking an Outsourced Accounting Intern to support client accounting and finance functions across various industries. The intern will assist with accounting operations, reconciliations, financial reporting, close activities, budgeting, and special projects while gaining experience with cloud-based accounting systems and client advisory services.

What you'll do:

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
  • Support invoice management, payment tracking, and transaction coding
  • Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
  • Assist with bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review financial transactions for completeness, accuracy, and proper classification
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities
  • Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules
  • Assist in the preparation of client financial statements and management reports
  • Help identify, research, and resolve account discrepancies
  • Assist with variance analysis and financial trend reporting

What they're looking for:

  • • Enrollment pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • • Expected completion of bachelors or masters degree between December 2027 and June 2028
  • • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and data organization
  • • Ability to learn and navigate accounting software and cloud-based technology platforms
  • • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
  • • High level of motivation to learn and produce high-quality work
  • • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skill
  • • Professionalism and confidentiality when handling client information
