## Overview Panasonic Energy is looking for interns to join our innovative teams in the Panasonic Transformation Group (PTG). Team members are hard-working, goal-oriented, creative, and looking for interns to train. Interns should expect to learn all facets of manufacturing systems and data flow from generation to user consumption, and leave with technical and strategic skills. ## What You’ll Do - Work on projects, programs, and improvement ideas in digital transformation. - Work on elements of manufacturing digital solutions. - Update and maintain digital system and process documentation to support standardization. - Analyze and organize data to show trends and help prioritize focus areas that will make the biggest impact to the business. - Create enterprise data models to standardize naming conventions and display upstream and downstream relationships of data. - Perform larger analysis to understand and show the business impact of Smart Factory initiatives. - Bring an outsider’s perspective and suggest improvements that challenge current processes. - Collaborate with other functional areas and interns to share processes and ideas across the business. - Perform other duties as assigned. ## Internship Details and Program Requirements - Full-time paid summer internship working onsite for Panasonic Energy at the Gigafactory. - The program is 12 weeks long and is planned to occur between Monday, May 17 and Friday, August 6, 2027. Dates are subject to change. - Must be able to attend the entirety of the internship. - Minimum 3.2 GPA. - Must have completed a minimum of two years at an accredited university. - Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis when the internship begins and must not require employment visa sponsorship to participate or for a full-time role after graduation. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization. ## Education - Completion of at least two years of full-time enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or similar disciplines. ## Essential Qualifications - Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university. - GPA of 3.2 or higher. - Basic knowledge of project management processes and tools. - Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. - Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely. - Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). - Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. - Working-level knowledge of English, including reading, writing, and speaking. ## Preferred Qualifications - Hands-on experience through project teams or previous jobs. - Desire to create a sustainable future through energy storage, renewable energy, and electric vehicles. ## Physical Demands During a normal workday, the role requires sitting 40% of the time, walking 30%, standing 20%, and lifting 10%. Keyboard/computer, office equipment, and phone use are continuous. Occasional lifting is required for loads up to 10, 20, and 35 lbs.; team lifting for loads over 35 lbs. is not required. ## Personal Protective Equipment Wearing PPE is a possibility and may include a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, or a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator. ## Additional Information Pre-employment drug testing is required.
