Job Summary - Why you’ll love this position
St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center provides specialized care for clients diagnosed with mental illness. We are looking for a positive and energetic Dietitian who has an interest in helping individuals with mental illness maximize their potential.
Responsibilities:
- Complete initial and annual nutrition assessments of all assigned patients
- Follow-up with patients weekly, monthly, or quarterly depending on nutrition risk
- Provide individualized interventions based on patients’ nutrition/health goals
- Attend and participate in interdisciplinary care of patients including treatment planning and rounds
- Communication with Food Service staff - special dietary needs of assigned clients
- Facilitate weekly nutrition-based groups with patients
Qualification:
Maintain registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and have current Missouri licensure.

- For supervisory positions it’s recommended to include: Training, certification, and/or education in continuous process improvement programs such as Lean Six Sigma as well as completion of Missouri Way, Leadership Academy, and similar programs is preferred.
