Job Summary - Why you’ll love this position

St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center provides specialized care for clients diagnosed with mental illness. We are looking for a positive and energetic Dietitian who has an interest in helping individuals with mental illness maximize their potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete initial and annual nutrition assessments of all assigned patients 
  • Follow-up with patients weekly, monthly, or quarterly depending on nutrition risk
  • Provide individualized interventions based on patients’ nutrition/health goals
  • Attend and participate in interdisciplinary care of patients including treatment planning and rounds
  • Communication with Food Service staff - special dietary needs of assigned clients
  • Facilitate weekly nutrition-based groups with patients

Qualification: 

Maintain registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and have current Missouri licensure.
