KidzStuff Child Care is looking for an energetic, dependable, and caring Part-Time School-Age Teacher to join our afternoon team! If you enjoy helping children learn, build confidence, and have fun in a positive environment, we want to hear from you.

Must have School Age 45 Hour Training  Methods and Materials and 45 Hour Training Child Growth and Development

Hours 1:30p-5:30p Monday-Friday 

May vary on days that school is closed.

• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for school-age children.
• Plan and lead educational, recreational, and enrichment activities.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities while ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Support homework completion and encourage academic success.
• Foster children's social, emotional, and physical development through positive guidance and age-appropriate activities.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Complete attendance, required documentation, and other classroom responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma, GED, or college coursework from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with children in an approved setting, 30 college credit hours, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must meet all Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and Office of Child Care (OCC) requirements.
• Current certifications required: First Aid & CPR, Emergency Preparedness, Developmental Screening, and Medication Administration.
• Must successfully complete a medical examination, drug screening, and background check.
