Patient Accounts Representative

The Patient Accounts Representative performs billing and collection functions, reviews aging and system work queues, and follows up on assigned accounts to support cash collections and minimize denials or bad debt.

What you'll do:

• Performs Billing and Collection functions on Patient Accounts
• Reviews aging and system work queues to ensure timely follow-up on assigned accounts
• Strives to achieve positive results in cash collections and minimal denial or bad debt activity

What they're looking for:

• High School graduate
• Experience in healthcare billing or payment through either other facilities or providers and/or insurance carriers
