Requesting 2 Forklift Drivers for the Commerce DC

Start date is Wednesday, 11/27.

2nd shift: 6pm - 5am

 Pay Rate:

11/27-12/7: $13.50/hr*

12/8 - 12/28: $12.50/hr*

*$0.50 has been added for 2nd shift

 Please note:

• Thanksgiving, Sat, 11/30 & Sun 12/1 are mandatory work days
• Employees' first day may be a reduced 4hr shift for training

ASSOCIATE, FORKLIFT

The Forklift Associate is responsible for operating power equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, load, unload, pick, and count merchandise while holding accountability for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a pleasant personality; effective memory skills; good hand eye coordination; dependability, ability to follow directions, and a strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily orders for shipment
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, or shipping order, to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Loading finished product to the carrier
• All other duties assigned while maintaining proper procedures and control

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• 1-2 years of experience operating various distribution operation equipment (e.g., reach lift, order puller, dock stocker and electric pallet jack, etc.)
• 1+ years of experience working within a Distribution Center environment required
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. without assistance
• Experience operating RF scanners, required
• Must be forklift certified 
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
