People Operations Intern
Department: Human Resources Location: Dublin, OHSUMMARY:
As a People Operations Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department in various aspects of human resource management. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to the field of HR within a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. You will work closely with the People Operations Team and be involved in a wide range of HR activities, contributing to the overall success of the organization's human resource functions.
Location: Onsite in Dublin, OH (We are open to a flexible schedule).
Pay: $20 per hour
Duration: We are looking for someone who can start with us in the Spring and potentially come back during the Summer. Open to discussion.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Onboarding and Offboarding

Add new hires to the system through self-onboarding invitation.

Complete Smartsheet's and I-9/E-Verify forms (in the first 3 days).

Assist in conducting new employee orientations and coordinating agendas.

Follow offboarding procedures during terminations.
Employee Records and Data Management

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS (Human Resource Information System) & managing backup files in Sharepoint.

Participate in organizing and archiving employee records.
Compliance and Legal

Assist in ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Participate in HR audits and documentation for legal and regulatory purposes.
Administrative Support

Create documentation of People Operations processes and procedures in all areas.

Provide general administrative support to the People Operations team.

List essential functions and responsibilities for the position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
