People Operations Onboarding Specialist

Ovation Healthcare is hiring a People Operations Onboarding Specialist to support onboarding and other People Operations processes, including employee records, HRIS updates, compliance, and administrative support. The role also assists with recruiting, audits, reporting, and People Operations activities related to mergers, acquisitions, and employee rebadges.

What you'll do:

• Ability to be in office at least 4 days per week (Brentwood, TN)
• Help with On-Boarding new employees; help with termination paperwork
• Serve as the liaison between People Operations and IT for all outgoing and incoming laptops
• Coordinate with the People Operations Generalist on company-wide emails; set up meetings; review and distribute mail
• Maintain Employee Records and keep up with all the paper and non-paper files
• Review People Operations check requests and invoices and allocate expenses to the correct cost centers
• Assist with Recruiting needs
• Provide administrative support to the People Operations Generalist and broader People Operations team
• Monitor background checks and communicate findings to the People Operations Generalist
• Responsible for I-9 compliance, conduct I-9 meetings and continual audit compliance
• Help maintain Workday (org structure, etc.)
• Process onboarding for contractors

What they're looking for:

• Highschool graduate or GED
• Previous experience performing administrative functions and/or data entry in a professional setting
• Experience with MS Office required
• Previous experience in a Human Resources role a plus
• Experience with Workday or other similar HRIS or ATS preferred
