About this role
CEA CAPA Education Abroad provides transformative international education experiences through study abroad and career readiness programs. The People Operations Coordinator supports recruiting and day-to-day People Operations, including recruiting coordination, HRIS administration, onboarding, employee lifecycle processes, and People Ops initiatives.
What you'll do:
- Support the Corporate Recruiter with the day-to-day recruitment process, from application through onboarding
- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a smooth and timely experience
- Review resumes and applications and conduct initial candidate screens as assigned
- Support candidate sourcing, outreach, and talent pipeline development
- Assist with job postings, candidate assessments, reference checks, background checks, and other recruiting activities
- Maintain accurate candidate information and recruiting activity in the ATS/HRIS
- Help coordinate the transition from offer acceptance through onboarding
- Maintain accurate and timely employee information in the HRIS and process employee changes as needed
- Assist with HRIS reporting, data audits, and maintaining data integrity
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation throughout the employee lifecycle
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, system updates, and coordination of employee activities
- Assist with employee lifecycle processes such as new hires, transfers, promotions, and other employee changes
What they're looking for:
- 1+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, recruiting, or a related role
- Experience supporting recruiting or talent acquisition processes; sourcing or candidate coordination experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and time management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with candidates, employees, managers, and cross-functional partners
- A service-oriented and approachable communication style with a genuine interest in supporting people
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Comfortable working with sensitive information and exercising sound judgment and discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- A curious, collaborative, and adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Familiarity with an ATS and/or HRIS; ADP Workforce Now experience is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
