About this role

The People Success (HR) Operations Coordinator supports core human resource operations, including onboarding, employee lifecycle transactions, payment processing, compliance activities, and employee inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate the new hire process workflow, including processing onboarding in Workday for employees at all levels, tracking completion of required tasks, and escalating non-standard situations
- Present regular New Hire Orientation sessions, managing logistics, setup, and participant tracking
- Support data integrity across HR systems, including conducting monthly SOX audits
- Execute and monitor employee lifecycle transactions and implement improvements for processes including onboarding, one-time payments, severance, and separations
- Maintain documentation of People Operations processes
- Review background checks using established criteria and guidelines, escalating any concerns or exceptions
- Follow control measures for compensation administration, including validation protocols for one-time payments and severance calculations
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth operations
- Evaluate and respond to employee inquiries and external agency requests, applying People Operations knowledge to provide accurate and timely solutions
What they're looking for:
- 1-2 years of experience in administration or HR, with a bachelor's degree in a related field of study; or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Excel (basic formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data entry) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to follow directions and established procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communications, with ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proven track record of managing confidential information with discretion and maintaining appropriate controls
- Familiar with understanding HR processes
- Proactive problem-solving approach with ability to anticipate needs and implement solutions

- The above locations are eligible offices for this role. The locations have been determined to foster in-person collaboration with this role's team or the related business lines. We utilize a hybrid work model, and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. In-person attendance is essential for this role's success, and remote placement will not be considered. Happen Bank offers relocation, based on actual job level
