About this role
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Support the Personal Training Director in the day-to-day leadership and operation of the Personal Training department at the assigned club.
· Assist with recruiting, onboarding, coaching, scheduling, training, and development of Personal Trainers.
· Personally service Personal Training clients and maintain an active client base consistent with Company expectations.
· Conduct CrunchONE Kickoff sessions and support new-member conversion into Personal Training programs.
· Support achievement of department revenue, enrollment, retention, trainer-capacity, and client-experience objectives.
· Participate in team meetings and Trainer 1:1 meetings and provide coaching consistent with Company standards.
· Monitor department activity and use Company systems, dashboards, and reports to identify performance opportunities, risks, and required follow-up.
· Maintain accurate time, session, client, and operational records in Workday and other Company-designated systems.
· Maintain required professional certifications and complete assigned leadership-development coursework and Director-readiness requirements.
· Follow Company policies and escalation protocols and promptly escalate employee-relations, disciplinary, leave, legal, compensation, or other matters outside delegated authority.
· Support Company standards for billing, collections, loss prevention, cleanliness, member experience, and facility operations within the Personal Training area.
· Perform other duties reasonably related to the position and business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
· Prior Personal Training or comparable coaching experience preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to build, service, and retain a personal client base preferred.
· Demonstrated interest in and readiness to develop into a Personal Training leadership role.
· Strong communication, organization, coaching, follow-through, and member-service skills.
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Current nationally accredited Personal Training certification required (NASM or another certification on the Crunch Fitness Certification Approval List).
· Current CPR and AED certification required.
· Required Company education and system-training requirements must be completed and maintained.

· Consistently supports department execution and follows through on assigned leadership responsibilities.
· Maintains strong personal client service, session delivery, enrollment, and retention performance.
· Supports the Personal Training Director in improving department revenue, trainer capacity, new-member conversion, and client retention.
· Completes required Director-development activities and demonstrates measurable progression toward readiness for the Personal Training Director role.
· Maintains accurate timekeeping, session records, certifications, client documentation, and required Company records.
· Escalates matters outside delegated authority promptly and demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, and adherence to Company standards.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
The physical demands described below are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
· Ability to move throughout club floors and rooms and communicate effectively with employees, members, and the public.
· Regularly demonstrate, instruct, and physically participate in fitness activities and Personal Training sessions.
· Regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, and remain on the training floor for extended periods.
· Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
· Regular use of computers, telephones, mobile devices, and Company systems.
Schedule and Availability
This is a non-exempt, hourly position. Scheduling is based on member demand and operational needs and typically includes evenings and weekends. Flexibility may be required for training, meetings, new-club activity, coverage needs, and other business requirements. All hours worked must be accurately recorded, and required meal and rest periods must be taken in accordance with applicable law and Company policy.
