Job Description:

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION: Phlebotomy Lab Instructor

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Part-time position available as Lab Instructor. This position will provide instruction in a Phlebotomy lab environment by providing high-quality, hands-on-training with technically relevant instruction for best practices. Will assist lead instructor as well occasionally lead hands-on skill labs, including skill demonstration and provision of student feedback. Will use various methods of assessment to ensure student mastery of the learning outcomes documented in the course syllabus.  Able to motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process.

NOTE: Adjunct Instructor positions are temporary, part time positions of employment appointed on a per academic term basis. Therefore, your employment is limited and there is no expectation that your association with Chatt Tech will extend beyond this term.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Lab Technology OR Certified Phlebotomist with 2 years of experience.
    • Will consider Certified Medical Assistant with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

SALARY/BENEFITS:  $38.00/hr.  There are no State Benefits.  Please be aware that all Chattahoochee Technical College employees must be paid by DIRECT DEPOSIT unless exempted by the State Accounting Office based on “hardship” evidence provided by the employee.
