PLM Functional Consultant/Business Analyst - Aerospace & Defense

Capgemini is a global leader in engineering services, seeking Functional Consultants / Business Analysts to support a complex PLM modernization for a major Aerospace & Defense OEM. The role involves capturing requirements, mapping functional scope, and validating PLM solutions while collaborating with a blended onshore-offshore team.

What you'll do:

• Capture and structure functional requirements from engineering and manufacturing stakeholders
• Map legacy PDM / process-planning functional scope (levels 0–2) onto Teamcenter capabilities
• Identify and document augmented-engineering / AI use cases (AI-assisted requirements, change impact, work instruction generation)
• Document as-is / to-be processes - change control, configuration, BOM and work-instruction flows
• Support configuration, test and validation of the Teamcenter solution against requirements
• Collaborate across the onshore–offshore team (onshore core + offshore center), mirroring the client; senior band runs user workshops and leads scope mapping

What they're looking for:

• 2 to 10 Years of experience as PLM Functional Consultant/PLM Business Analyst (Required junior, intermediate and senior folks)
• Requirements capture, documentation, test support
• Owns functional areas; runs workshops; drives scope mapping
• Leads functional domains, workshops and AI use cases; deeper Teamcenter expertise
• PLM functional / business-analysis experience appropriate to the band (see matrix)
• Ability to capture requirements and map functional scope in an engineering context
• Understanding of core PLM processes - BOM, change control, configuration, process planning
• Comfort collaborating across onshore–offshore teams; strong stakeholder-facing skills
